Heather Avi HeaderThe Omaha Storm Chasers started their season with an 8-3 record. The Chasers split their first series with New Orleans, but won the second series against the Zephyrs. So far, the Kansas City affiliate team sits atop the Pacific Coast League and is on a five-game winning streak.

As explained in my previous post, the minor league is a part of the Major League Baseball system. A typical minor league team is comprised of 25 players. Players on the Minor League Baseball roster consist of young players hoping to break into the Major League, veterans who don’t have a Major League contract, but still wish to play, and Major League ballplayers on rehab assignment. Here’s a look at the Omaha Storm Chasers roster excluding the pitching staff.
